At the beginning of the year I resolved to start a blog, so I registered a domain and convinced myself that I would be back. As with so many New Year’s resolutions, however, it was a fleeting thought that lasted about all of January. The year got busier, the months flew by and I had forgotten all about my blogging intentions.

That was up until about a month ago when I made some changes to my life and found that I now had a lot more free time on my hands and you know what they say “idle minds are the devil’s playground”. My mind started wandering and I felt that I needed an outlet for all the thoughts in my head and I suppose that’s what this blog is about really, my take on the world around me.

With a rejuvenated interest in blogging a new challenge stood before me, as a commitment phobe and perfectionist at heart, I had no clue where to start. I had to find the perfect words and commit to the perfect design, which was no easy feat, until I realized that this is not the perfect space but a work in progress. I am new to the world of blogging and am going to make mistakes but I’m hoping to learn and grow with this blog.
